In foreign policy, America has always used sanctions as an inhumane tool against countries that are not aligned with it. This approach was intensified during the presidency of Donald Trump and included the fields of finance, banking, insurance, transportation and shipping. The main question is what effect has the imposed sanctions of the Trump administration had on the social and political capital of Iran? The hypothesis of the research points to the reduction of Iran's social and politicalcapital during the tightening of sanctions. A explanatory-analytical method based on library documents and data has been used to measure the research hypothesis. The findings of the research show that the sanctions have had a negative impact on the country's economic situation and the drop in economic indicators such as economic growth, increase in the exchange rate, inflation and inequality has turned the society's view towards livelihood and survival more than in the past. As a result of the predominance of livelihood over action and thinking, destructive effects in the social spheres (increase in crime, immigration), culture (decrease in attention to non-governmental organizations and artistic and cultural activities) and politics (decrease in political participation, spread of protests, collective violence and lawlessness) has emerged.

Despite decades of expansion in international academic fields, the concept of social capital is still an under-researched area in Iranian domestic fields. This term has become a controversial and multidimensional concept, as each branch in the humanities has adopted and applied their own definition of the term, social capital. Giving a functional explanation of the term, this research aims at evaluating the quantitative and qualitative situation of youth’s political socialization process. The focus of this research is on the relationship between the concepts of ‘social capital,’ ‘socialization’ and ‘political affair.’ For the case study, this research focuses on university as a government institution in charge of political socialization in the political system of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Specifically, the research tries to explore the effects of social capital on political socialization process of undergraduate students in public universities in the city of Tehran. The hypothesis of this research is that the higher the level of social capital in public universities in Tehran, the more successful the universities are in realizing the political socialization function of their undergraduate students. Eventually, this study will investigate effective contexts in the process of political socialization to highlight the political functions of social capital.

Jewish fundamentalism, as a kind of a variety of religious fundamentalism, has its own specifics, while having similarities to other forms of fundamentalism. Different interpretations of religious and historical sources have led to the formation of various forms of Jewish fundamentalism, which, if we want to provide an indicator for categorizing these species, is the best indicator of the "exile" or "return" principle. From the perspective of the fundamentalists that we are in exile or the time of return, we have our own rules and requirements, and on this basis we can mention three fundamental types of fundamentalism: passive fundamentalism, pragmatic fundamentalism, and promised believing fundamentalism. The Jewish fundamentalists, while dividing into different groups, have the same ultimate goals, and the difference between the aforementioned species is a tool, method, and time-space detection. Of course, in addition to the intra-religious components, the alignment or opposition to political movements, the role played by the policies of the Zionist regime, and also the attention to the adoption of pragmatic positions of some of these groups, one can well categorize and why certain positions in different types of fundamentalism Explaining.

Evaluation of the youth national Identity as the most vital, the most legitimate andthe most common type of collective identity, and the study of the factors influencingit, is one of the issues that have been the constant concern of sociologists andpolitical thinkers. The main concern in this respect is to preserve and enhance thecitizens’, especially the youth, sense of belonging and commitment to concepts suchas history, culture, state and the political system. One of the things that have comescarcely into theoretical and empirical examination is the impact of socialnetworking on a National Identity. The method used is surveyand data were collected using questionnaires distributed among a sample of 294university students in 2013-2014. Their reliability was calculated in formalmethods, and their validity was assessed using Cronbach's alpha, and finally, they were analyzed by 22SPSS software. The findings of this study suggest that there is strong and significantrelationship between inter-group networks and four dimensions of nationalidentity, namely, the socio-cultural, historical, political and territorial identity. The abovementioned networks have more impact on the socio-cultural, political, historical, and territorial identity, respectively. Also, despite the impact of intragroupsocial networks on political and socio-cultural identity, the total value didnot confirm any correlation between students’ national identity and intra-groupnetworks.
